Introduction of Wall Travelling Jib Crane Operation

This video shows a wall travelling jib crane with an electric chain hoist working in a workshop.

The jib crane travels along rails fixed to the steel structure of the workshop wall, while the electric chain hoist travels along the jib arm. The two travel movements allow the load to be moved to different positions along the wall and across the jib reach.

This type of crane is used for machine loading and unloading, assembly, maintenance, fabrication and material handling where several workstations are located along the same wall.

Compared with installing several fixed wall jib cranes, one travelling jib crane can serve multiple work areas along the rail.
